Welcome to "The Daniel Collection"
This site has been created to showcase and publicise some of the turning that has appealed to us as well as trying to bring into sharper focus this particular artform - which seems to be largely overlooked [ignored?] by galleries.
All the pieces reflect our own personal taste - please read nothing more than that into it and none of it is for sale.
We do not loan pieces out due to the high risk of damage but are more than happy to show people round the collection at a mutually convenient time. We are also happy to come and "talk" to clubs and other groups about the collection, why we bought particular pieces and what it means to us - please use the contact form on the site if you would like to discuss this further.
This newly re-launched site is still very much in the early stages of development so please feel free to email me with your comments if there is something you think is missing. We have some ideas of our own but creative input is always welcome.
In the meantime please bear with us as we repopulate the database with photographs of the pieces and reshoot where necessary - a process that is likely to take quite a while.
